Genmin welcomes Gabon's President to Baniaka

We are proud to announce that His Excellency the President of the Transition, President of the Republic of Gabon, and Chef de l’Etat, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema has made his first official visit to the Company’s 100% owned Baniaka iron ore project located in the Haut-Ogooué province in south-east Gabon.

The Presidential Visit occurred on Friday, 19 July 2024 and was part of President Oligui Nguema’s official week-long tour of the Haut-Ogooué province, throughout which he noted the economic significance of Baniaka.

While at Baniaka, President Oligui Nguema congratulated the Company on its commitment to the employment and training of young Gabonese people, and offered his full support, and that of his Ministers, for Genmin to develop the project as quickly as possible, to get into production.
